The recent debate surrounding the "swivel/hip-drop" tackle has sparked heated discussions among players, coaches, and fans. With the NFL's decision to ban this hip-drop tackle technique, we must approach the issue with a clear understanding of the tackle itself and the implications of this rule change.

We are excited to announce our new partnership agreement with the National Junnior to become the Official Tackle Analytics Provider of NJCAA football.

Atavus analysis tracks head contact, head positioning, and spine alignment on every tackle attempted. We believe that identifying these incidents is the beginning. We support behavior change that can be enacted by coaches in order to address this issue at the source and reduce overall incidents of head contact in tackling, period.

With safety being the largest concern in Football, Atavus looks to help address some of the areas of concern through our safe tackling programs.
